5 Must Do’s in New Zealand
So, you plan to visit New Zealand? This is what I recommend you do… trust me they’re worth it!
Franz Josef Glaciers
One of the most beautiful places I have been. We planned to do the Ice Picking Tour but unfortunately the weather was too bad.
We opted for the Glacier Landing instead, which was incredible! Although it wasn’t what we originally planned, it was still an amazing experience and much cheaper if the Ice picking isn’t in your budget!
Bungee Jump - Queenstown
Booked on a whim… TRUST ME.
I have never been SO scared but now, I would do it again, and again and again. There is something so freeing about going mind over matter, and making that jump. The team at AJ Hackett were incredible and made us feel very comfortable with their knowledge.
At AJ Hackett, they will not push you or force you to jump. They want you to experience it yourself and truly letting yourself go. - Inspiring!
Marlborough - Wine vineyard Cycle Tour
Such a cute day and experience! - There are plenty of vineyards to bike around, each offering different tastings. You are given a map of the vineyards and the idea is to cycle around and try from different farms.
I would still recommend this, even if you aren’t a wine drinker as the views and landscapes are incredible. The families on the farms are so welcoming and very knowledgeable.
Mount Cook National Park
The sheer scale of the mountains and stunning glaciers will leave you speechless. You don’t have to go to the national park to see these views - but I would recommend it!
These mountains are so large, you will see them from miles away, but they are even more spectacular up close.
Abel Tasman National Park
If you like hiking and walking I would absolutely recommend this! You can do parts of the trek, or the whole thing over a couple of days.
The park is gorgeous, full of life and the scenery is like nothing I have encountered before. There are sections of this hike that can be water logged, so just keep that in mind!
