I couldn’t decide, so I went to both! Here’s my thoughts Both had beautiful architecture, sunsets, food and vibes. Heraklion… However, we found ourselves getting bored quickly, we were glad to be moving on. There are museums (which I read are great if you love ancient history and archaeology) but otherwise not much else is there. We planned to do the Ice Picking Tour but unfortunately the weather was too bad. We opted for the Glacier Landing instead, which was incredible! I have never been SO scared but now, I would do it again, and again and again. There is something so freeing about going mind over matter, and making that jump. The team at AJ Hackett were incredible and made us feel very comfortable with their knowledge. At AJ Hackett, they will not push you or force you to jump. You are given a map of the vineyards and the idea is to cycle around and try from different farms. I would still recommend this, even if you aren’t a wine drinker as the views and landscapes are incredible. You don’t have to go to the national park to see these views - but I would recommend it! You can do parts of the trek, or the whole thing over a couple of days. The park is gorgeous, full of life and the scenery is like nothing I have encountered before.
